Urban and Trendy
Q: What or who is your biggest inspiration?
A: I don't really have an only source of inspiration. Things just happened and I take one from here and one from there. Music, photograpy, books, interiorism, nature... inspiration it's all around us! On the other hand, when talking about it-girls that inspired me on the way I dress, I would say Alexa Chung's style is my favourite!
Q: Why are you interested in fashion / design / photography?
A: I've been interested in fashion I guess for all my life! lol I don't really know from where did I take the esence because nobody in my family do really like this world; but I remember having drawn my own first 'collection' when I was just 8! I still have the drawings! Since then I started to read fashion magazines, while my friends used to bought teen mags, I paid for Vogue. Fashion is now part of my life, I'm sure that if you take it me out and I'm not B. anymore. It's a complex, magic and interesting world that I wanna discover. I see fashion as I way of expression, you can transmit so many things with it.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: So B.! I don't have a certain and define style really, it's changing all the time. You can see me one day wearing an outfit totally different from what I was wearing the previous day; but, in general I normally move around black, grey, red, white and camel, forever denim, and blue stripes, no much pattern at all except for tiny flowers on summer. I've an only fashion rule: don't wear something you may not like at all just because the rest do, you should keep your personal and individual style.
Q: Does your blog help you in your career?
A: I'm currently studying something totally different from fashion but, however, having a blog had opened me loads of amazing oportunities that I had never imagined before. Moreover, I've gained a lot of experience talking at a personal level.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time? - apart from blogging obviously!
A: I'm a very active person, and even if I'm a full time student and I don't really have much free time, I always moving from here to there, doing a lot of things. I'm a travelling lover so I try to escape somewhere each time I'm able to. I'm also into drawing, shopping, and doing DIY projects!
Q: What is your advice for young people interested in a career in fashion / design / photography?
A: You should acquiere a lot of knownledge to reach it, so you must be interested on the subject and feel like learning! You should just try without being afraid of looking back, you are not losing anything! You must take advantage of all the opportunities that came across your life and what's hte most important thing, never ever give up :)
