  Oh So Hip It Hurts

Q: What or who is your greatest inspiration?
A: Summer, the 1970's, skater boys and girls, vintage band t-shirts, 90's teen movies, rock music, models off duty, terry richardson photography, old russh magazines.

Q: Why are you interested in fashion/modelling/photography?
A: I love images. I love to be able to express my thoughts and moods creatively. I'm a very visual person. Fashion and photography inspire me every day.

Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is all over the place, I cannot commit to one style- I admire people who know what they like and dress in one particular 'theme'. I buy whatever I happen to like and think suits me. My wardrobe is a mish mash of stuff, one day i might feel girly, the next i might dress more rock and roll. Depends on my mood I suppose.

Q: Does your blog help you in your career?
A: I studied Journalism and Public Relations at University and I think blogging is a great tool to share information and ideas. However, Oh So Hip It Hurts is purely just for my enjoyment. I would consider tying all my interests together and developing a more 'serious' blog sometime in the future- when the time is right.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time? – apart from blogging obviously!
A: In my spare time I like to go to concerts, go out with friends and of course shop. Recently some of my girlfriends and I have been going to high tea which is especially fun. Also you can't beat a great night out on the dancefloor with some wicked tunes, you're best friends and some eye catching dance moves!

Q: What is your advice for young people who are interested in a career in fashion/modelling/photography?
A: Do it because you love it and its you're passion, that way it will never feel like 'work'.
